I definitely needed to read this! Thank you for sharing. Sounds like you’re super resilient, brave, and you’re doing your best! You’re killing it! I personally LOVE love love baths, reading, and magnesium! I recently started making tea for bed and I love feeling like a princess haha. I can’t wait to try your other recommendations and I’m sure you’ll be helping a lot of people by sharing. Thank you!💕
Okay sounds like we’d be great friends because so many of these things are exactly what I love as well. Dr Tara Swart, the specifics pins you shared, the TBM references, and even being the person talking about magnesium glycinate 😝 Hi I’m Kristen, so happy I found you! I’m also figuring it out lol
I LOVE THIS! When I started having panic attacks out of stress while I was an athlete at university my mom had me make a list of things that I could do to help me calm down! Your list and mine are so similar! I love how you explain why the fiction reading is comforting--I've always felt that way but had trouble putting it into words! Thank you!!
So glad it's resonated! ❤️ when things feel overwhelming it's so comforting to know you can tap into a personal tried and true list of things to help you through it.
You are inspiring me to create my coping toolkit. I already have a number of ideas. Your wisdom is spreading! I’ll share this idea with my email list. Thank you!
Hi Tracey - TBM is To Be Magnetic, a platform that combines neuroscience and psychology to educate on manifestation. They teach that you manifest from your subconscious, not your conscious, mind so identifying those limiting beliefs, blocks or patterns and reprogramming them will help you manifest what you want!
DI's are Daily Integrations - basically their audios that are a mix of meditation, hypnosis and other somatic tools that are the way you identify those beliefs.
Oooh thank you for asking! My immediate recommendation is The Christie Affair by Nina De Gramont, but I also have my eye on The Ladies Road Guide to Utter Ruin by Allison Goodman (it’s set in the Regency period if that’s your vibe) which comes out next month! Would love any genre of comfort reads if you have any recommendations! Xx
ooo they sound good thank you!! currently reading something called the natural history of dragons! it's quite nice and low stakes so far which is fun! xx
I’ve realized my healing journey is very much centered around healing my nervous system (thanks to therapy), so this list is HIGHLY appreciated!
Also, completely agree on magnesium. A cup of Moon Juice’s Magnesi-OM before bed and I am sleeping like a… well-adjusted toddler? I refuse to say sleeping like a baby because I have one of those and she DOES NOT sleep! 🥲
You're so spot on, wish I could go back and tell myself that in my 20's to heal my nervous system before trying to figure out my career, life, or dating!

Feeling like a princess is the yardstick to making good choices 😂 ✨💕
Felt calm just reading all these 🕯️☁️
Mission accomplished! ✨ Now if only I could virtually hand you a cup of tea and a fluffy blanket!

Magnesium is magic ✨
